“Hey Boo Boo,” says Yogi “Don’t forget the picnic basket.”
Welcome to today’s newsletter. I am skipping on the territories today to give you a look at a great place I visited. It is Yellowstone's Yogi Bear Campground. I did not realize this was a brand around Canada and the U.S. Many have different amenities, so look them up in the area you want to visit.
Many of my friends had never heard of. It is about 40 minutes from me, and I had taken my older grandchildren there when they were small. They have extensively upgraded this place, so come with me as I show you my day trip. What a wonderful place to visit, camp and enjoy the activities.

My daughter-in-love and my grandchild Brody went with me and his other grandparents. For $20.00 you can do all of the activities there. You must pay for a few special activities, but it is well worth it.
When I walked into the check-in area, they had amicable customer service. I looked around their store and saw the variety of gifts they have. Of course, they have Yogi and Boo Boo collectibles. The real Yogi and Boo Boo were out on an outing, so we did not get to see them.

There is another room in the check-in house. It is the activity room where something is going on all the time. They had ceramics to paint. That was an awesome activity and a meager price—2.00 to 8.00. You could paint gifts for all your friends or family. I picked up an activity schedule that was two pages long for just that day. There are many sports activities like basketball and cornhole too.

Let’s go out to the pool area. There is a children’s pool and a bigger pool and of course, the kids love the mushroom waterfall. It is an excellent way to cool off when you cannot swim. Later on in the day, they had water gun fights. I saw children who didn’t know each other bond during this activity. It was great watching them play together instead of wanting to do screen time. I remember when I was young, I would always meet friends at the pool on vacation.

There was a vast picnic area where we sat and had our lunch. I love that I can go with the other grandparents to different events. We all love being together and talking. We spend vacations together every once in a while, but always holidays. It is great to have friends that are your younger son’s in-laws.

While waiting for your food to settle, you can play put-put golf, included in the package. They have a jumping pad on the ground for the kids and a playground beside it. Up front, there is a little mining for gold area.
Don’t forget the bus stop out front to go on a “Heyride.” That is what they call it. I imagine because you are riding around the campground saying “hey” to everyone. There were a lot of children riding bikes and skateboards around the park. It was terrific to watch, knowing children were out playing.
This park has all kinds of cabins starting at $99.00 a night with different-sized beds. I will return to camp in one of their cabins and rent one of their new golf carts. I cannot wait to come back, which will be soon. My friends and I will rent a cabin, and then I will return with my family before the year ends. I saw a review that said the cabins were high dollar but look at all the activities it comes with. If you are camping, they are free. We were not camping is why it cost us $20.00. They have special activities all throughout the year but on a daily basis— two pages long.

Can you tell this is one of my favorite places? It is and I am going to make sure I have plenty of rest at home before I go so that I can enjoy myself. Look them up near you or in another State. Some of them have waterslides. They are all different with the amenities.
If you enjoy traveling around with me:
This is what childhood is about! You're making some core memories for those children which is incredible. Thank you for sharing this heartwarming post :)
