I am a 62-year-old disabled lady who refuses to lie down and quit. I have had many careers in my lifetime. Since I became disabled, I decided to share my life and talents with my followers. I am thrilled to be part of a community of writers, where we can share our experiences and learn from each other. I have been on Medium for a while and am ready to build a newsletter, so Subscribe and join me on this journey of discovery.
I have overcome many obstacles in my life and pursued various careers, yet writing has become a lifeline for me. I could have turned into a couch potato, but instead, I chose to take every available class to improve my writing. Having been a travel consultant many years ago, which was one of my favorite jobs, I now wonder, why not write about it? I have always loved history, too. Going on homeschool assignments with my nephews made me love travel history writing. We had some crazy, beautiful trips back then.
We will take this journey together through cities and countries. I will show you places to explore, eat, and shop. Each place will have a history so you can get a feel for how it has evolved to where it is today. We will also offer simple and popular trips to read about, so get ready. It will entail everything you need to know to book that itinerary if you want to go or just read about it like a story.
